# Create your own Triggre templates

Your unique projects may require a specific layout that is not covered by our existing Triggre **Templates** , or that you have already developed for another Triggre application. Luckily, you can create, download and upload your own Triggre **Templates** to leverage the work you have already done.

1. The process of creating your **Template** is straightforward and begins with you developing a version of your project within Triggre. This can be done by adjusting existing **Templates** or building an application from scratch.
2. Once you’ve designed your **Template** layout, [save it as a new version.](https://docs.triggre.com/lessons/saving-a-version)
3. Once your version is saved, [download it](https://docs.triggre.com/lessons/downloading-a-version).
4. The downloaded **Template** file can then be [uploaded into new projects](https://docs.triggre.com/lessons/uploading-a-version).
