# Fetching the status of a check-box in User flow A, to be used in User flow B

Hi,

I have several user flows and I need to use the status of a checkbox in user flow A to decide how to continue in user flow B. I can’t figure out how that should be done. If I try to create a rule on a step I can only select items from the user flow that I am working in. And I would really find it bad form if I would ask the same information twice. We have the government agencies to do that:-(

What does this checkbox do? Could you specify by providing an example? Then we can help you better!

Hi,

I think they only way is to create a field in the person’s Data where you can store the value of the checkbox in flow A.

In Flow B you can retrieve the value and work with it.
