OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is the technology that converts information from scanned documents or images, like invoices, into digital data. With this extension, you can automatically extract all key details from each PDF invoice and make them available in your portal. This way, instead of just storing the PDFs, you’ll be able to see important values (like invoice number, date, and total amount) right in your application. The process is simple: you send invoices (via email or Zapier) to the OCR tool ‘Docparser’, which extracts the data and sends it back to your portal as structured fields.
