95. Advanced strategies to boost performance and cost-efficiency

Thoughtful application design can improve both performance and cost-efficiency, and in this advanced Triggre Weekend Masterclass, Eddie demonstrates you how.

There are two approaches to analyzing a list of items within a Triggre application: one using repeat actions and the other without. The “repeat action” method processes each item individually in a loop. While effective, it requires significantly more actions (21 in this example) and takes longer (2.8 seconds). By contrast, the “no repeat action” method integrates filters and conditions into a single lookup and edit action, achieving the same result with just 2 actions and completing the process in 0.4 seconds. Since Triggre’s pricing is based on the number of actions, this efficiency will also positively impact your bill.

Try these techniques in your own applications and see how you can boost efficiency with smarter design choices!
