Is there anyway to create a database view for a data item?

Hi, maybe a newbie question, but I cannot find a way to create a database view or anything like it in Trigger. Is this something you have not considered? I can certainly see how this could be used in creating useful reports and summaries.

What are your thoughts on this?

Currently we don’t support Database views. In case you want to alter data to show it in a report you need to restructure the data and save it in a data-item.

After that you can show it in a report.
