Add ‘onClick’ property in tables and lists

Dear Triggre-Team,

Currently it is only possible to redirect from a table or list to a page with a button. So, you select a record, then the button is shown, you click the button and you’ll get redirected to another page.

However, from a UX perspective, this means more clicks than desired in some situations. So, it would be very nice if Triggre could add a ‘onClick’ property. In the Designer this could be realized by adding an element to a page with the ‘+’, and then asking: would you like to add a button or a ‘on click’ property to the page? (Ofcourse there does need to be a table or list in the page.)

This would be very nice to have, please let us know if this will be on the roadmap or not.

Thanks in advance!

Hey there,

While we agree that there are use cases in which this behavior is preferred, there are also many cases where this is not the preferred solution. In other words, it would mean that you as a creator need more knowledge of UX design to make it work.

We have a different direction in which we are taking some things that will very likely solve this for you, but I cannot tell you everything about this yet as it is currently in early development.

In general, rest assured that we are evaluating the balance between simplicity and possibilities at an almost daily basis. Future releases will give more freedom and possibilities designing pages.
